The unexpected reunion of Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty at Mumbai airport on Monday has fueled speculation about a possible revival of the ‘Hera Pheri’ franchise.
Directed by Priyadarshan, the iconic ‘Hera Pheri’ series originally starred Akshay as Raju, Rawal as Baburao, and Suniel as Shyam. Images and videos of the trio have quickly gone viral online, with one video especially capturing attention, showing Akshay playfully tilting Rawal’s head towards the camera as they posed for photographers.
First released in 2000, ‘Hera Pheri’ is widely regarded as one of the finest Hindi comedies. Its sequel, ‘Phir Hera Pheri’, debuted in 2006, with both films achieving significant box office success.
