Work on the highly anticipated ‘Dhoom 4’ is reportedly underway, and rumours about its cast and crew have been swirling.
According to recent buzz, Ayan Mukerji, known for his work on films like ‘Brahmastra’ and the upcoming ‘War 2’, is being considered to direct this installment of the blockbuster franchise, produced by Yash Raj Films.
A source close to the production revealed to Bollywood Hungama, “Aditya Chopra is very pleased with the footage from ‘War 2’ and has informally discussed his intention of bringing Ayan Mukerji on board for ‘Dhoom 4’. Ayan is excited about the prospect but is currently focused on his own project, ‘Brahmastra’.”
The source further explained that Mukerji has requested some time before making any commitments. “He wants to complete ‘War 2’ and then have discussions with Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Jio Studios about the future of ‘Brahmastra’ before deciding on ‘Dhoom 4’.”
‘Dhoom 4’ is shaping up to be one of Aditya Chopra’s most ambitious projects. “Aditya Chopra understands the immense value of the ‘Dhoom’ franchise and has always kept it close to his heart. While he’s expanding his series of spy films, he’s aware of the legacy of ‘Dhoom’ and wants to bring it back at the perfect time with the right cast and director. His focus is on assembling the best talents in India to create ‘Dhoom 4’,” the source concluded.
