Diljit Dosanjh is the latest name to be signed for the much-talked-about epic war drama ‘Border 2’.
The acclaimed singer and actor shared the news with his fans on Instagram on Friday, posting a clip that featured his voiceover expressing sentiments about the country and the duty to protect it.
Sharing the post, Diljit captioned it, “Pehli Goli Dushman Chalaega aur Akhri Goli Hum (The first bullet will be fired by the enemies and the last by us)! Honoured to stand with such a powerful team and walk in the footsteps of our Soldiers! #Border2.” His words reflect the patriotic spirit and intense emotion expected from the film.
Sunny Deol, who starred in the original ‘Border’ and is returning for the sequel, also welcomed Diljit to the project. He shared on Instagram, “Welcoming Fauji @diljitdosanjh to the Battalion of #Border2.”
Diljit Dosanjh joins an impressive cast that includes Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan. ‘Border 2’ is slated for a grand release on 23rd January 2026. Directed by JP Dutta, the film is expected to continue the legacy of the original 1997 blockbuster ‘Border’, which was celebrated for its depiction of the valor and sacrifices of Indian soldiers during the 1971 Indo-Pak war.
