Actor Tanuj Virwani and his wife Tanya Jacob welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on Tuesday morning.
Speaking about the joyous occasion, Virwani shared, “Both mother and daughter are healthy.” He described the experience as “a nice and smooth, normal delivery” and recounted the events of the day. “We woke up at 4am in the morning when her water broke, and we rushed to the hospital. We had quite a day today!” he told Hindustan Times.
The 37-year-old actor, who married Tanya in December last year, admitted feeling “nervous” initially as the birth came a few days ahead of the expected due date. “It was the most incredible and surreal feeling in the world. You hear a lot of stories from your friends and family, but when you actually experience it, it’s an unexplainable feeling. You just think that the due date is about to come, and when it happens, it’s incredible,” expressed Virwani.
