Star Plus to axe ‘Advocate Anjali Awasthi’ in June?
With the conclusion of the IPL, Star Plus is preparing for a major shake-up, introducing new shows while phasing out underperforming ones.
Rumours are circulating that, alongside ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’, ‘Advocate Anjali Awasthi’ is also under review and could be taken off-air in June.
However, lead actress Shritama Mitra has dismissed the speculation. She stated, “No, this is not true. We have not received any such information. If something like this were happening, we would have been informed—but no such communication has been made to us.”

She further added, “I genuinely have no idea where these reports are coming from. A co-star recently reached out to show me the claims, and that’s how I found out. But I have no official confirmation regarding this matter.”
