Vaibhavi Hankare exits ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’ on Star Plus

Vaibhavi Hankare has confirmed her departure from Star Plus’ ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’ following a recent slump in the show’s ratings.

There had been speculation that Param Singh, Sanam Johar, and Vaibhavi Hankare would be replaced due to the show’s declining TRPs. However, it was later reported that Param and Sanam would continue, while only Vaibhavi would be exiting. Now, Vaibhavi has officially confirmed her departure.

Speaking to Times of India, Vaibhavi reflected on her character Tejaswini’s journey in the series. She clarified that she was not a replacement for any previous character, but was introduced with her own independent storyline. She expressed gratitude for the opportunity, sharing that the role allowed her to explore a lot as an actor and helped her connect with the audience.

Vaibhavi added that she believes everything happens for a reason and fully respects the makers’ decision. She said, “I’m walking away with nothing but gratitude for the team. I would like to thank you all for welcoming Tejaswini into your hearts. This chapter is closing now, but my heart is filled with love and gratitude.”
