Lyca Radio – Leicester launches across Leicestershire

Lyca Radio is thrilled to announce the launch of Lyca Radio – Leicester, marking the network’s first foray into the Midlands. The station has officially launched and is now available on full-scale DAB digital radio across the region, promising an exciting array of programming for local listeners.

Lyca Radio – Leicester will boast of shows with popular household names renowned for their radio shows in Greater London. Listeners can tune into ‘Gold Breakfast’ with Kajal from 06:00 to 10:00 , perfect for commuters heading into work. ‘Drive’ at 16:00 will see the return of Raj Baddhan in Leicestershire featuring a fusion of latest and retro Bollywood, Bhangra and retro hits.  

Additionally, the legendary Ravi Sharma will be on air with his unique style from 10:00 AM. This will be followed by superstar Bollywood singer turned presenter Bali Brahmbhatt from 13:00 and every evening, the popular and energetic ‘Radiowaali’s Rollerocoaster’ at 19:00.

Weekend mornings will feature public figure Keith Vaz with his impeccable style of talk from 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM, alongside witty hosts Ruby Raz and Naj waking up listeners from 07:00 AM to 10:00 AM.  The weekend schedule also includes Ritu Sharma from 10:00 AM to 13:00 PM and Anneka from 13:00 PM to 16:00 PM. Niraj Dave will dazzle audiences from 16:00 PM to 19:00 PM with the Lyca Radio Network Chart Show on Saturday and a fusion of chartbusters in ‘Sunday Showdown’.

The ’Desi Beats’ show’ will get everyone dancing from 19:00 PM to 22:00 PM. On Sundays, listeners can unwind with ‘The Sunday Wrap’ show hosted by Mehsa from 19:00 PM to 22:00 PM. Along with these amazing shows, every night listeners can wind down with the most beautiful Asian love songs with ‘Love Sound’.
