Raj Baddhan has been honoured as the Media Executive of the Year at the prestigious People’s Awards, held at the House of Commons on Thursday, 6th March 2025.
The event, organised by Luminary Networks Limited, was hosted by Dr. Rupa Haq MP and saw the attendance of notable political figures including Seema Malhotra MP, Kit Malthouse MP, Andrew Bowie MP, Councillor Ameet Jogia, and British journalist Mihir Bose.
Baddhan was recognised by the esteemed jury panel for his outstanding contributions to the media industry. As the head of Lyca Radio Network, the largest Asian commercial radio network in the UK, and as a co-founder of BizAsiaLive.com, Baddhan’s influence has been far-reaching. Over the past year, Lyca Radio has earned the title of Radio Station of the Year at the Asian Media Awards, achieved record revenue growth, and expanded its services into Manchester and Leicester, with a mix of unique local and network programming.
