Juggling a filming schedule amidst a pandemic can create its own challenges. For Ajay Devgn, he’s apparently had to push back his schedule for ‘Mayday’ in order to commence his first digital project, ‘Rudra: The Edge of Darkness’.
Reported on Box Office Worldwide, the ‘Tanhaji’ (2020) actor was meant to have completed shooting for ‘Mayday’ before embarking on his first OTT venture ‘Rudra: The Edge of Darkness’. Devgn who had already set aside 40-50 days for the latter, has to start his new project before returning to finish his ‘edge-of-the-seat human drama’ which he started in December 2020.
The reason behind the reshuffle was due to an issue that took place on the ‘Mayday’ set. According to sources, a disagreement between two groups of line producers broke out on one particular day and led to the shoot being rescheduled. Not only that, the set also got damaged during the brawl, causing more setbacks. With only 10-15 days left on the schedule the team will reconvene to round off the final shoot which entails filming at Doha Airport and thereafter a plane crash sequence that will be shot in Vasai.
