Akshay Kumar reportedly left the shoot of the ‘Bigg Boss 18’ finale without filming his segment after host Salman Khan allegedly arrived late on set.
Kumar was scheduled to appear alongside debutant Veer Pahariya to promote their upcoming film Sky Force. Photos of Akshay and Veer from the set had already gone viral, creating buzz for their appearance, but the shoot ultimately did not take place.
“Being as punctual as he is, Akshay arrived on set at the scheduled time, around 2:15 PM. However, Salman had not yet arrived,” a source revealed. “Akshay waited for an hour, but Salman had a trial screening of Jolly LLB 3 in his schedule. After waiting, Akshay decided to leave without filming.”
Attempts were reportedly made to convince Akshay to return, but he did not change his decision.
The source added, “Akshay and Salman eventually spoke, and Akshay explained that he had to leave for a prior commitment. Salman expressed his hope to host Akshay on the show at a future date.”
The ‘Bigg Boss 18’ grand finale, airing tonight, will feature finalists Eisha Singh, Avinash Mishra, Karanveer Mehra, Vivian Dsena, Rajat Dalal, and Chum Darang competing for the winner’s trophy.
