In a recent turn of events, veteran actor Anil Kapoor has stepped away from Sajid Nadiadwala’s much-anticipated comedy flick, ‘Housefull 5’. The departure comes as a result of scheduling conflicts that have arisen for the actor.
Initially set to join the star-studded ensemble cast, Kapoor’s exit from the project has been confirmed by industry insiders, citing overlapping commitments as the primary reason.
According to sources close to the production, Kapoor’s busy schedule, particularly his commitments to other film projects, posed a challenge for his involvement in ‘Housefull 5’. With filming for the comedy slated to commence in August, Kapoor found himself tied up with prior commitments, notably his upcoming venture with Yash Raj Films (YRF).
Speaking to PeepingMoon, a source shed light on the situation, stating, “After determining the availability of all the main actors, the makers decided to begin filming Housefull 5 in August. While this schedule worked for everyone else, it did not align with Anil’s diary.” The source further revealed that Kapoor is set to embark on a shoot for YRF’s female spy thriller alongside Alia Bhatt, Sharvari, and Bobby Deol during the same period.
