After so many headlines associating names to the biopic of Dhyan Chand, the hockey legend, it appears that Abhishek Chaubey’s film is apparently going to see Ishaan Khatter play protagonist.
“The makers felt that Ishaan will suit the part well, while the actor is also extremely excited to play such an important character. Ishaan has agreed to be a part of the project, however, he is yet to sign on the dotted line. As of now, the plan is to take the film on floors next year”, said a source, according to Pinkvilla.
Ronnie Screwvala had announced the biopic but no cast was ever officially confirmed. Hopefully confirmation is on its way.
