Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri are set to captivate audiences with their chemistry in Anurag Basu’s upcoming romantic film, produced by Bhushan Kumar. While earlier speculation hinted at the film being ‘Aashiqui 3’, Kumar clarified that this project is a separate venture, distinct from the ‘Aashiqui’ franchise.
In a recent statement, Kumar revealed, “The name ‘Aashiqui’ is not there for this film. When we were making Aashiqui 3, it was not working out. So, now we are making another romantic movie, which Anurag dada is directing. Kartik and Triptii are a part of it.”
This announcement marks an exciting collaboration between Aaryan, Dimri, and acclaimed filmmaker Anurag Basu.
Currently, Bhushan Kumar is also overseeing the final schedule of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, in which Aaryan and Dimri play pivotal roles alongside Tabu, Madhuri Dixit, Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav, and Sanjay Mishra. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film is slated for release around Diwali 2024.
