Producer Allu Aravind: “Want to make Ghajini 2 with Aamir Khan”

South film producer Allu Aravind has expressed interest in making a sequel to Aamir Khan’s 2008 blockbuster ‘Ghajini’.
Aravind, who was involved in the original film co-written and directed by A.R. Murugadoss, shared his thoughts at the trailer launch of ‘Thandel’.

Recalling the film’s box office milestone, he said, “At that time, reaching ₹100 crores was impossible. In the middle of the film, Aamir challenged us on set, saying this would be the first ₹100 crore film. We wished for it, and Ghajini became the first film to cross ₹100 crores. Now, ₹100 crores is like ₹1000 crores. I want to make a ₹1000 crore film with you—maybe Ghajini 2.”
