Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was spotted at Mumbai Airport on Sunday evening, for the first time, after Indian police foiled gangster Lawrence Bishnoi Gang’s plan to attack the actor. Khan was surrounded by an entourage of security personnel.
Maintaining distance from the paparazzi, unlike most of the times, the actor didn’t pose for pictures and was seen heading straight into his car. While Khan was seated in a bullet proof SUV, the vehicle was followed by his Y+ security team and police officers.
On Sunday, reports surfaced that an alleged member of the Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar gangs was arrested for plotting an attack on the ‘Dabangg’ actor.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, Maharashtra, Pansare told the press that Panvel Police Station, Senior Inspector, Nitin Thackeray got inputs in September-October last year about a plot to harm Khan. The investigation uncovered that four gang members had recced Khan’s farmhouse in Panvel, the area around his home at Bandra in Mumbai and also places the actor visited while shooting for his films.
In April this year, gunshots were fired outside Salman Khan’s residence, Galaxy Apartments. Evidently, following the shocking incident, Khan’s public interactions have reduced in number and his security has been further increased by the state.
