Salman Khan set to begin work on war drama earlier than expected

Salman Khan is preparing to begin work on his upcoming war drama, which is set against the backdrop of the 2020 Galwan Valley conflict.

According to reports, filming is expected to commence sooner than initially anticipated, with director Apoorva Lakhia at the helm.

As per a report in Mid-day, Khan is likely to start shooting within the next five months. Although he has not yet officially signed the project, he is said to have given his informal approval to Lakhia.

The report also indicates that Khan is prioritising this film over ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2’, which was intended to reunite him with director Kabir Khan. However, the much-anticipated sequel has reportedly failed to materialise.

Should Khan give the final go-ahead, Lakhia is expected to begin setting the shooting schedule. The film, which will be produced under the actor’s own banner, Salman Khan Films, is slated to be filmed in Ladakh.
