Tiger Shroff & Janhvi Kapoor to lead cast of Karan Johar’s ‘Lag Jaa Gale’
Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions is set to collaborate once again with director Raj Mehta for an upcoming film titled ‘Lag Jaa Gale’, featuring the fresh pairing of Tiger Shroff and Janhvi Kapoor.
A source close to the project revealed, “Raj Mehta’s next is a revenge-driven action love story, with Tiger Shroff and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead. It’s a script he has been working on for quite some time, and he was keen to cast a fresh pairing. After narrating the story to Tiger and Janhvi, both were immediately on board.”

While the title, ‘Lag Jaa Gale’, evokes a lyrical and romantic sentiment, taking inspiration from one of Bollywood’s most iconic love songs, the film itself follows an entirely different tone. The insider elaborated, “We considered several titles, but Lag Jaa Gale struck the right emotional chord and fit the theme perfectly. The title is poetically ironic, contrasting sharply with the film’s intense and hard-hitting narrative. At its core, it’s a pure revenge action film intertwined with a compelling love story.”
