Akshay Oberoi, who is a part of the third season of ‘Inside Edge’ (2017), said that there is no truth to stories circulating around demands to re-shoot footage.
He told the media, “I think it’s dumb because speculation is what it is. You need fodder for stories and it’s absolutely not true. It’s unfair and I don’t know why these things happen. But I guess it’s part of the game. Not only are we trying to make good content for people, it’s also a business. I always find these stories a part of the business. That’s how I deal with it. There’s money at stake, there’s reputation at stake, all kinds of people trying to get ahead. So, I’m okay that the story came out but it’s absolute rubbish.”
Reports began circulating that the makers were asked to reshoot a major chunk of the third season, reports Filmfare. There was the suggestion that the footage already filmed was not up to the high standard expected by the higher powers of the production.
Either way, fans of the popular Amazon Prime web series are excited that the new reason is coming back soon.
