Prime Video has unveiled the action-packed trailer for the highly anticipated original series ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’, set to release on 7th November 2024.
Directed by the acclaimed duo Raj & DK, the series is a spin-off from the global Citadel universe, created in collaboration with the Russo Brothers’ AGBO and Amazon MGM Studios.
Starring Varun Dhawan and Samantha in lead roles, alongside Kay Kay Menon and an ensemble cast, the spy thriller is set in the 1990s. The plot follows stuntman Bunny and actress Honey, who are drawn into a dangerous world of espionage, forced to reunite years later to protect their daughter. With explosive stunts and a gripping storyline, ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ promises to be a thrilling addition to the world of Indian entertainment.
Prime Video’s Head of Originals, Nikhil Madhok, praised the series for its action-packed trailer and unique storytelling. Varun Dhawan and Samantha both expressed their excitement about their challenging roles in this high-octane production.
