Navjot Singh Sidhu returns to ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ on Netflix
Netflix has officially announced the return of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ for its third season, set to premiere on 21st June 2025.
The new season brings with it a major development that is sure to delight long-time fans: the return of Navjot Singh Sidhu to the show’s iconic judging panel.
Sidhu, a familiar and much-loved presence from the early years of the programme, will once again join Archana Puran Singh on the judging bench, marking a significant shift in the format. For the first time, the comedy talk show will feature two judges, adding a fresh dynamic to the familiar on-screen chemistry.
Speaking about the decision, Netflix highlighted its recent promise to audiences – “Har Funnyvaar Badhega Humara Parivaar”, a pledge to expand and evolve the show’s comedic family. Sidhu’s return represents a fulfilment of that promise and an acknowledgment of sustained audience demand.
Kapil Sharma, the show’s host and creative lead, expressed his enthusiasm for the reunion, saying, “We had promised viewers that our family would grow this season, and I’m delighted to welcome Sidhu Paaji back to the show, alongside Archana Ji. With the return of his trademark shayari and energy, this season promises even greater laughter and entertainment.”

Sidhu echoed this sentiment in a heartfelt message, “Returning to The Great Indian Kapil Show truly feels like coming home. In addition to Sidhu’s return, the new season will feature the continued presence of several beloved performers, including Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, and Kiku Sharda, all of whom bring their own distinctive comedic styles to the ensemble.
An added innovation this season will see select Superfans join the stage, offering them a rare opportunity to interact directly with the cast and contribute to the live humour and spontaneity that the show is known for.
Season Three of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ will be available exclusively on Netflix from 21st June 2025.
