Kushal Tandon roped in to play new lead in ZEE TV’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’

Popular television actor Kushal Tandon has been confirmed as the new male lead in ZEE TV’s longest-running show, ‘Kumkum Bhagya’.

Tandon will replace Abrar Qazi as part of the show’s upcoming generational leap. Qazi’s co-star, Rachi Sharma, is also expected to exit the series.

A source told The Times of India, “The producer was keen on casting Kushal Tandon as the male lead, as he perfectly fits the new storyline. The search for the female lead is currently underway, and we aim to finalise the actress this week. The new chapter is set to launch early next month, introducing a fresh romantic narrative.”
