Shakti Arora confirmed to leave ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’ on Star Plus

In a significant development for Star Plus’ popular series ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’, lead actors Shakti Arora and Bhavika Sharma are set to exit the show. Shakti Arora confirmed to BizAsiaLive.com that he will leave the series mid-June, and reports indicate that Bhavika Sharma, who plays the title role, will also be stepping down.

The news comes as the show plans a generational leap, a decision driven by the need to refresh the storyline. Arora, who took over the lead role from Neil Bhatt, shared that the current narrative had reached its limit. “There was not much story left to be explored with the current cast,” a source close to the production house told ETimes. This shift is aimed at revitalizing the series, which has seen a dip in ratings compared to its earlier seasons.

The production team is currently auditioning for new leads to introduce a fresh storyline. The entire Bhosale family, including actors Nimai Bali and Vaishali Thakkar, will also be leaving the show.
