Triptii Dimri to play Parveen Babi in Netflix’s new biopic?

Triptii Dimri is reportedly set to portray the late actress Parveen Babi in a biopic, slated for release on Netflix.
Babi, who had a dazzling film career during the 70s and 80s, passed away at the age of 50 in 2005.

A source told Filmfare, “Triptii’s dates have been locked. Director Shonali Bose and her team are working quickly to begin shooting for this ambitious project.”
Parveen Babi shared close ties with filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and actor Kabir Bedi. It remains to be seen if their characters will be included in the film.
