Arshad Warsi is the latest addition to the star-studded cast of ‘King’, which features Shah Rukh Khan, his daughter Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Deepika Padukone.
Currently in pre-production, the Siddharth Anand directorial is set to commence filming on 18th May at a Mumbai studio before moving on to extensive schedules in the UAE and Europe.
A source close to the project revealed, “His role may be small, but it’s integral to the story. When Shah Rukh personally reached out to him, Arshad couldn’t say no—nobody does. He’s taking on this film purely out of his admiration for Shah Rukh. His character is charming, quirky, humorous, and endearing, with subtle grey shades and there’s no one better than Arshad to bring it to life.”
