Lyca Radio & Lyca Gold Radio unveil new logos

London’s popular Asian radio stations, Lyca Radio and Lyca Gold Radio have undergone a brand refresh – the first time in eight years, since Lyca Media launched the stations.

The new branding comes a year after the stations’ parent company, Lycamobile unveiled its new logo. The new logos have been designed by Clear M&C Saatchi. The rebrand is part of a £250m investment by Lycamobile over the next three years to reposition the operator for a wider audience.

The new Lyca Radio and Lyca Gold Radio logos now follow the same uniformity as the Lyca Group. The Lyca Radio and Lyca Gold Radio logos have their own identity with colours and icons. The Lyca Group corporate heart has been redesigned into a heart with a soundwave to reflect Lyca Radio and Lyca Gold Radio’s output.

The new branding, which comes into force today to coincide with Diwali, will be rolled out across all platforms online, television and outdoor.

Raj Baddhan, CEO of Lyca Media said, “We are celebrating Diwali today with the official unveil of our new logos for Lyca Radio and Lyca Gold Radio. The new logos not only look fresh, slick and clean but also sit neatly under the Lyca Group, following the uniformity set by our parent company, Lycamobile. The new logos are set to pave the way for an exciting 2023 for both Lyca Radio and Lyca Gold Radio. Watch out for a special announce in Q1/23.”

Lyca Radio launched in 2014, while Lyca Gold Radio replaced Dilse Radio in September 2021. Lyca Gold Radio was the brainchild of Raj Baddhan, since he took over as CEO of Lyca Media in January 2021.
