The popular presenter Radiowalli from Lyca Radio – Greater London has joined the Greater Manchester roster of presenters.
Radiowalli’s Rollercoaster, which has captivated the London evening show audience, will now grace the North West of England.
‘RadioWalli’s Rollercoaster’ will broadcast during the coveted evening 19:00 – 22:00 slot, offering a unique experience for listeners in both regions. This strategic move introduces a harmonious mix of localised and networked content, designed to appeal to the diverse preferences of each area while maintaining a broad appeal.
RadioWalli will continue to charm her audience with her signature segments that have become a staple of her show, including ‘Cracker Classic’, ‘90s At Night’, ‘Naughties at Night’, ‘Lazy Lounge’ and much more.
Sharing her excitement, RadioWalli remarked, “I’m over the moon to share ‘RadioWalli’s Rollercoaster’ with our new friends in Greater Manchester. It’s a fantastic chance to engage with fresh ears while keeping our cherished London listeners spinning with joy. I’m eager to sprinkle a bit of that Rollercoaster magic across the North West!”
Raj Baddhan, CEO of Lyca Media, expressed his enthusiasm for this expansion: “We’re ecstatic to welcome RadioWalli to our Greater Manchester weekday evenings. Her show’s infectious energy and unique flair have won over London, and we’re confident it will resonate just as strongly in Manchester. This is a testament to our dedication to providing exceptional content and fostering unity throughout the UK.”
Lyca Radio – Greater Manchester’s launch in April 2024, following the acquisition of Asian Sound Radio in December 2023, marked a significant milestone. The transition from Asian Sound Radio to Lyca Radio signified a new chapter for the station and its audience. This strategic enhancement has not only extended Lyca Radio’s footprint but also solidified its status as a premier voice in the Asian radio scene.
