Rani Mukerji confirmed for extended cameo in Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘King’
Shah Rukh Khan’s highly anticipated film ‘King’ has just become even more exciting with the addition of Rani Mukerji to the cast.
According to Pinkvilla, Mukerji has officially joined the Siddharth Anand-directed action thriller in what is reported to be an extended cameo. A source revealed, “Rani Mukerji and Shah Rukh Khan have shared the screen in iconic films such as ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’, and ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’. Now, they are set for a much-awaited reunion. Rani has been cast as Suhana Khan’s mother, a role that serves as a crucial catalyst in the film’s gripping storyline.”
The source further added, “Accepting the role was an easy decision for Rani. She has immense respect for Shah Rukh Khan and Siddharth Anand’s vision for ‘King’. As soon as she heard the part, she immediately agreed to come on board. Her character forms the emotional backbone of the film, bringing greater depth to the narrative.”
