Following the tremendous success of ‘Singham Again’, Rohit Shetty has confirmed he will be reuniting with Ajay Devgn for ‘Golmaal 5’.
Shetty shared his plans to return to the ‘Golmaal’ franchise in a recent interview with Pinkvilla, stating, “I think before any cop film, for sure ‘Golmaal’ will be the next.”
When asked about transitioning from action to comedy, Devgn explained, “We’re not switching from one world to the other on set; we’re switching between action and cut. Once Rohit calls ‘cut,’ I can’t keep acting like Singham. I have to be normal—otherwise, you’ll go insane!”
Shetty launched the ‘Golmaal’ series in 2006 with ‘Golmaal: Fun Unlimited’, where Devgn introduced the beloved character Gopal. The series continued with ‘Golmaal Returns’ (2008), ‘Golmaal 3’ (2010), and ‘Golmaal Again’ (2017).
During the same conversation, Devgn also confirmed he’s working on ‘Son of Sardaar 2’ and ‘Dhamaal 4’.
