Sony Entertainment Television is set to bring back the divine magic of faith and devotion with ‘Shirdi Wale Sai Baba’. This new offering promises to take audiences on a soul-stirring journey with stories rooted in hope, kindness, and the timeless teachings of Sai Baba.

Actor Vineet Raina steps into the revered role of Sai Baba, marking a deeply personal and transformative chapter in his career. In this exclusive conversation, Vineet talks about the experience of portraying Sai Baba, the responsibility it brings, and how this journey has shaped him both as an actor and a person.

How does it feel to portray such a deeply spiritual and revered figure like Sai Baba?
Honestly, it’s more than just a role, it’s a divine blessing. Sai Baba’s teachings have always inspired me, but to embody him on screen is humbling beyond words. I feel like this show chose me, not the other way around. Every day on set feels like a spiritual experience.

Was there any hesitation in accepting this role, given its emotional and spiritual depth?
It’s a huge responsibility when you’re portraying someone people worship. It’s not just about getting the look or body language right, it’s about radiating his calm, his wisdom, his unconditional love and kindness. That takes surrender, not performance.

What sets ‘Shirdi Wale Sai Baba’ apart from other spiritual dramas?
This show goes beyond miracles, it focuses on everyday stories of faith, compassion, and transformation. It highlights how Sai Baba’s teachings touched the lives of ordinary people in extraordinary ways. It’s emotionally grounded and very relatable.

What message do you hope the audience takes away from ‘Shirdi Wale Sai Baba’?
A – The world needs more kindness and faith. Through this show, I hope viewers reconnect with values like compassion and selfless service.

Was there a moment during the shoot when you truly felt the divinity of the role?
Many times! There were moments on set, especially during scenes involving blessings or interactions with devotees, when I felt an unexplained calmness, like Sai Baba’s energy is guiding me. It’s difficult to describe, but it was deeply moving.

How do you think today’s audience especially the younger generation will connect with this show?
I believe the younger generation is searching for peace and meaning more than ever. This show offers that. It’s about values like kindness, faith, and love which are timeless and relevant to all ages.

‘Shirdi Wale Sai Baba’ airs every Monday to Friday at 19:00 on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV.
